Level 1 OFFICIALS Course (ONLINE) Sept - Part 2 of 2

You must have registered for Part 1 of this course on 11 September to attend this session.
This session is Part 2.
This course is for anyone interested in furthering their knowledge of Dragon Boat administration and wanting to become an Ausdbf Official (Level 1).
Melanie Cantwell & Geoff Roberts will run this course to the Level 1 Official guidelines.
The event will be held online via ZOOM and presented in 2 parts over 2 days.
Part 1 - Saturday 11 September / 9am - 12noon / Modules 1,2,3
Part 2 - Saturday 18 September / 9am - 12noon / Modules 4,5 and review
Participants would need to attend both sessions to complete the course.
* ZOOM links details will be sent to registered participants closer to the event.
* Prior course work, may be set and is to be completed before attending on the day.
* Cost for the course is included in your payment of Part 1 ($80 total).
* Exams would be completed offline and emailed back to the Presenters.
* Participants would be responsible for printing their own workbooks to take notes in as we go through.
* Participants will need to volunteer at one regatta when convenient to complete the course. Must officiate at one (1) regatta and be assessed (when convenient), if successful will be awarded level 1 race official accreditation.
Note: Failure to officiate at a regatta within a reasonable time (usually 3 months), will require applicant to start again and attend next available course (unless extenuating circumstances are approved by ROMP representative.
• Will receive AusDBF Officials Logbook to record all officiating experience Maintain Level 1 Accreditation
• Must have officiated at one (1) regatta annually
• Must complete online training annually with 80% pass mark. Upon completion of renewal an electronic certificate will be issued and notification sent to the State ROMP representative.
• It is the responsibility of the race official to re-accredit annually to ensure they remain valid
