COVID INFORMATION
To allay any concerns your crew may have around the event, we are advising the following strategies:
- On the night before the event or on the morning of, if you are able to and have access to a Rapid Antigen Test (RAT), it is suggested that it would be a good idea to test. This is not a mandatory requirement, just the latest Government Event suggestion.
- You Should stay away from the regatta if:
a) you have tested positive for COVID and are under isolation orders
b) you feel unwell on and during race day
c) you have been identified as a close contact by NSW health - There will be an Event Site Service NSW QR code, that you can register your attendance on. The same as every other locations QR code that you check in on. Please ensure you scan this code on arrival on the day.
- Mask wearing is advised when in indoor spaces (Ie the bathroom) and encouraged, when in close proximity in your team base area.
- Hand Sanitiser will be available on site.
- We support social distancing from other teams, though recognise that within your own crew and obviously in the boat, this is not possible or required.
- DBNSW and the City of Sydney comply with all COVID rules and guidelines at the time of the event.
- Despite all our best measures and efforts, it is still possible that there may be undetected cases at our event and it could spread amongst some participants.
