FEES & CHARGES

At its May meeting, the Board of Dragon Boats NSW set the schedule of fees for the 2017-18 year. Clubs will note there has been an increase in fees for the new financial year.

The latest fees can be found here.

In regards to the general membership fees and regatta entry fees, the Board has determined that the rise would reflect the Sydney CPI.

The other fees have been raised slightly to reflect the extra costs associated with insurance, new equipment, repairs and maintenance and the operation of Bank St.

In setting these fees, the Board has also determined to use accumulated funds to purchase a new fleet of racing boats. To this end, DBNSW has purchased the whole fleet of standard (DB22) boats that were used most recently during the AusChampps in Albury-Wodonga. These 13 new boats will be kept exclusively for regattas, with the current racing fleet being made available for training purposes.

There will also be a number of boats retired which we will make available to the DBNSW community. Stay tuned for further information regarding these boats.

FORMS & CLUB RESOURCES

A number of important forms and documents have been updated for the upcoming season. Clubs will be able to find Club Affiliation and Boat Hire forms as well as a fully updated Regatta Hosting Handbook over at the CLUB RESOURCES page on the DBNSW website. A reminder to all clubs that the Club Affiliation form must be competed and returned to DBNSW including the committee section. This area allows clubs to nominate and update who receives important emails from DBNSW.
