CEO Report for May 2018
Dear Members and Supporters,
The focus of May and June for the Association has been going to all regions of NSW for the 2018 DBNSW Roadshows. Speaking with our community, face to face, is a high priority and we have reached out in Urunga, Cowra, Saratoga, Illawarra, and Port Macquarie. We still have Sydney and Moruya in the coming fortnight to complete the Roadshows. DBNSW successfully applied for a grant to fund the Roadshows from the Office of Sport NSW.
The presentations include a “3 Year Road Map” for DBNSW. The outcomes are a result of a consultative process with the members including the 2017 member surveys, regional and metro workshops, and a board strategic planning day with a facilitator. The organisation has an agreed vision, purpose and goals for our community for a sustained future for our sport. Members have till the end of June to send any further feedback before the launch date of 1 July 2018.
In addition to the Strategic Plan update, we have had presentations and upskilling on coaching and the revolutionise platform. Staff and Directors have attended all Roadshow. If you wish to see what this is all about and cannot make a Roadshow DBNSW has utlised technology and uploaded the strategic plan presentation on the DBNSW facebook from the Illawarra and Port Macquarie roadshows.
Have a great EOFY everyone. See you in the 2018/19 Season!
