Chief Executive Departs

Hello Clubs & Paddlers,
The Board of DBNSW would like to advise our members of the resignation of Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Tony Henderson.
Tony is taking up a fabulous opportunity at the A-League running their major events and will be leaving us on the 8th Feb.
Over the last 18-months, Tony has been instrumental in leading our sport out of Covid and placing us in a great position to move forwards and grow. Following our 2020-2024 Strategic Plan, he has led and closed off many of our initiatives and was a leader in our recent Board strategy day helping to set the path for the future. Tony has been a valued member of the team bringing to life an invigorated event calendar and we are really excited to see what the upcoming and re-vamped LNY Festival has to bring.
Through Tony’s hard work, our sport will continue to develop and grow and we’d like to wish Tony the best of luck and success in his new and exciting role!
