DBNSW Staffing Update- June

Dear Presidents and Life Members,


The Board has recently accepted the resignation from Luke Cassidy the Events and Programs Coordinator,  Luke has secured an exciting new position with Surf Life Saving NSW,   Luke has been a great asset to the organisation in his time with DBNSW and we wish him every success in his new position
Following the changes within the office, the Board has dedicated considerable time to strategizing the future direction of the organisation. We have taken this opportunity to look at the structure and have decided to recruit a General Manager, who will oversee the organisation’s operations, manage events, and implement our strategic direction in collaboration with the Board. Recruiting a General Manager is a key move that can help align day-to-day operations with our long-term goals. This new role will be pivotal in driving the organisation's success by ensuring that the operational and strategic direction set by the Board is effectively implemented.


Additionally, this change allows for further development and growth in the Member Services position and Fiona has accepted a new position of DBNSW Member Services and Programs Coordinator who will be responsible for the overall coordination and management of all member services and programs and will lead the management of RevSport for the organisation and its members. This position will be focused on ensuring that our members have a positive interaction addressing their needs and fostering a sense of community and loyalty. We are confident that Fiona will continue to excel in this new role within DBNSW.
