PRELIMINARY NOTICE OF AGM

| Preliminary Notice of the Annual General Meeting is hereby given to Member Clubs of Dragon Boats NSW Incorporated. Clubs should note that the formal Notice of Meeting and the Agenda will be distributed in the week commencing 12 September 2016. | |
| Date | Saturday 8 October 2016 at 10.00am. |
| Venue | Function Rooms at the Sydney International Tennis Centre, Rod Laver Drive, Sydney Olympic Park. This is located in the main administration building on the southern side of Centre Court. There is NO parking allowed at the administration building. Parking is available in Centre Car Park on the northern side of Centre Court. On the day, the Dragon Boats NSW blue station wagon will be parked next to this Car Park. Refreshments and lunch will be available for delegates. |
| Elections |
In accordance with the Dragon Boats NSW Constitution, nominations are sought for the position of Director. Four Directors will stand down at this meeting but are entitled to seek a further term of two years if they wish. Those Directors required to stand down are Trish Tinyow, Mat Anderson, Giovanni Cercone and Tamsyn Glenn.
All applications should be submitted by Friday 9 September 2016. |
| Notices of Motion |
One of the tasks of Member Clubs at the Annual General Meeting is to approve changes to the Dragon Boats NSW Constitution. Member Clubs are invited to submit Notices of Motion to make modifications to the DBNSW Constitution. The Constitution can be found on the DBNSW Website.
All motions should be submitted Friday 9 September 2016. |
| Nomination of Club Delegate |
Under Clause 6.6, Clubs are required to nominate a delegate for the current DBNSW year. Clubs can nominate via email to office@dbnsw.org.au Such nominations must be received by 26 September 2016. |
