RACE 4 - POINT WOLSTONCROFT UPDATE

Hello Clubs & Paddlers,
After discussions between DBNSW, the race officials for Point Wolstoncroft and the Regatta Organising Committee we've made the difficult decision to cancel Race 4 that was due to take place next Sunday 6 March 2022.
With the ongoing impact of the extreme weather across NSW, which is likely to continue as we head into the weekend, it made the regatta on the weekend less feasible for paddlers and organisers alike. Our primary concern for the health and safety of paddlers not only at the event but also travelling to the venue was not one we could overlook.
We hope by making the call this morning rather than asking clubs to travel to the venue then decide on the day will make it easier for plans to be adjusted.
