With the recently announced information regarding the Region v Region Regatta taking place on Sunday 28th March at the Sydney International Regatta Centre, DBNSW is now calling for expressions of interest in the coaching and team manager roles for each region. For further details on the event click HERE.
Each of the six regions (Bank St, Sydney Metro, North, West, South, Hawkesbury/Central Coast/Hunter) will require at least one coach and one team manager to organise the crews. Multiple coaches for a region may be considered where appropriate.
At least one coach of each region must hold current level 1 coaching accreditation.
Coaches and Managers will be appointed by DBNSW in consultation with regional coordinators.
Expressions of interests for these positions are now open for submission. Application forms can be found at the link HERE. The application period closes Tuesday 26 Jan.
The method of paddler applications will be determined by the Coaches and Managers (opening after appointments) and the selection of the crew will also fall to them.
If a region exceeds the amount of crew positions available selection criteria may be used. This criteria will be determined by the Coaches and Managers and with approval by DBNSW prior to use.
