Registration for Level 2 coaching course now open

AusDBF is hosting the first NSW based Level 2 Coaching Course in Port Macquarie during July and August this year. Another course based in Sydney is likely to take place during the 2017/18 season.
The AusDBF Level 2 Coaching Course is an intense course designed to enable learning for Level 1 Coaches to progress to Club Head Coach, State Squad Coach & National Team Divisional Coach.
Teaching competencies will include coaching competitive-hi-performance teams, biomechanics, periodisation (a look at the different types and their application) season plans, bioenergetics, crew selection, physiology, sports psychology, advanced techniques and steering tactics for 2000m racing; to name core subjects.
This is a six day course with in class and on water work. Come prepared to be in a dragon boat – please bring paddling gear & paddle. There will be ‘homework’ to be completed between Part 1 & Part 2 and beyond.

PREREQUISITES
- Individuals must have completed a First Aid Course and present evidence to the course presenter within 30 days of the course before accreditation is processed.
- Individuals must hold a current or recent AusDBF Level 1 coaching accreditation and present evidence to the course presenter within 30 days of the course before accreditation is processed.
- All participants must complete a Working with Children Check and provide that number to the presenter for accreditation to be processed.
