Individual Insurance
Insurance cover is provided to affiliated clubs and individual members of Dragon Boats NSW. Insured parties may include paddlers, coaches, sweeps, volunteers and committee members.
Cover includes limited personal accident, public liability and professional indemnity during activities sanctioned by AusDBF & state bodies such as training, regattas, meetings, travel to and from activities (domestic), fundraising, sweeping, coaching, etc.
It is recommended that all members view and understand their insurance cover and seek additional cover through their private health fund provider if they believe they need additional cover.
Club Coverage
Club affiliation with DBNSW provides public liability and professional indemnity cover. Additionally clubs have the option to obtain additional coverage including for:
• Marine Hull – coverage for your club owned boats
• Equipment – coverage for club own equipment and accessories
• Facility – coverage for club’s facilities
